CaseWare wins international IAB Award
On March 9, the respected International Accounting Bulletin presented its annual 'IT Vendor of the Year Award' to CaseWare. They were selected chiefly for the launch of their Audit International software program. This software is now also available in Belgium and Luxembourg via PragmaTools.
With the IAB awards the International Accounting Bulletin gives special recognition to companies for spectacular achievements in the accounting market in the past year. According to the jury, the new software from CaseWare International "helps companies around the world to conduct their audits more efficiently and intuitively." CaseWare International has also launched 'Collaborate', a software solution that gives teams access to all data in 'real-time' via a secure storage area in 'the cloud'.
The other laureates this year included PwC, Morison and BDO International.

Fair-Trade coffee and 'golf'contest great succes!
On 1st December PragmaTools participated once again in Belgium's leading event for numerical professions, the Forum for The Future.
The forum was attended by over 3,000 participants who took part in an info session, networking and visiting the exhibition stands.
The PragmaTool-stand welcomed over 600 visitors who enjoyed a delicious cup of Fair-trade coffee from Idé Coffee Systems, entered our 'golf' contest or picked up information.

The winner of our 'golf' contest is Bart Derdaele, Finance Controller Belgium & Netherlands for Studio Plopsa. Courtesy of PragmaTools, he and a partner will be treated to a day of golf or golf initiation at the Damme Golf & Country Club.

Brenda Van Rooy joins the PragmaTools-team!
Brenda Van Rooy has been a member of the PragmaTools team since July.
Brenda completed her studies in applied information technology in June and she is looking forward to her first professional challenge.
At PragmaTools, Brenda will be responsible for various technical modifications and developments for CaseWare templates.
The partners, Noël and Joep, are delighted that Brenda has started at PragmaTools, reinforcing the PragmaTools team.

Herman Konings also gave an inspiring and interesting talk entitled "The Fifth Scenario. On unprecedented futures and intuitive technology".
While enjoying a sustainable snack and a drink, we talked with colleagues about the inspiring afternoon and considered the future of our sector.
